Makerspace Bodø is a non-profit organization whose aim is to strengthen innovation and creative joy in the local community. The organization functions as an arena for learning, exploration and sharing of ideas, where participants can gain access to equipment and materials for the implementation of projects. The members have broad professional expertise and offer guidance, which contributes to a social atmosphere with a focus on learning and knowledge sharing.
The venue is located in a disused kindergarten, and Makerspace Bodø collaborates with several players, including Re Innovation, Krapyla and The Guild. The organization is registered in the voluntary register and operates on a zero-profit basis. In addition to access to workshops, Makerspace Bodø offers workshops, conferences and practical arenas to learn about technology and science. This gives participants the opportunity to develop their skills and realize their ideas in a supportive environment.
