Attic Dance School, part of the Cultural School and Young Culture in Drammen Municipality, is Drammen's largest dance school. The school was established by Wenche Brun in 1987 and has been part of Drammen Municipality since 2022. In 2011, the school moved into custom-made premises at Sundland, which has helped to expand the schedule and course offerings in line with demand.
The school offers instruction in a variety of dance forms, from beginners to advanced levels, and has classes for all ages. With over 75 classes each week, Attic covers a wide range of dance interests, from children to adults who want to develop their skills. The school has a focus on talent development and has a large staff of professional educators and instructors.
Attic Dance School also offers reduced course fees and free space for those in need. A Christmas performance is planned for 2025, and registration for the spring semester opens on January 5. The schedule includes level explanations to help students find suitable classes.
