Drammen Cultural School offers a varied range of teaching options in music, dance, theatre, visual arts, ceramics, animation, film, photography and new circus. The school aims to promote creative development and artistic expression among its students. With 60 experienced teachers, an inclusive and inspiring learning environment is created, where students have the opportunity to develop their skills and expression.
The school has a total of 1900 student places, which are divided between regular teaching options, shorter courses and projects in collaboration with primary schools and activity schools. In addition, concerts and performances are arranged for students, as well as various activities and workshops throughout the year. Drammen Cultural School also collaborates with local cultural actors to promote art and culture in the region. The main locations for teaching are Knutepunkt Svelvik, Folkets hus in Krokstadelva and Union Scene, as well as two satellites at Brandengen School and Konnerud School.
