Drammen Glassverk Musikkorps - Varden Selskapslokale was inaugurated in 1912 as a community center, built with volunteer labor. The building has been in use by Drammen Glassverk Musikkorps since 1931 and has previously been run by Drammens Glassverk. Since 1999, the venue has been owned and operated by the band, which currently consists of 37 members.
The venue offers flexible rental options for various events, with space for up to 70 people in the banquet hall and 100 people in the meeting room. The building is known for its excellent acoustics, which makes it well suited for rehearsals and music events. The band aims to present music from different styles in an entertaining way, and participation in the band promotes belonging and camaraderie among members.
