Hansen & Andersen is a traditional deli in the center of Drammen, with roots that stretch back to 1933, when Hansens Røkeri was established. The store is known for its wide selection of fresh produce, including smoked trout and salmon. The fresh produce counter is the longest in Drammen, measuring 18 meters, and offers a varied assortment of shellfish, game meat, cold cuts and poultry.
The deli's slaughterhouse has been in operation since 1872 and is now run by the fifth generation of Andersen. Each week, between 800 and 850 cattle and 600 pigs are handled, ensuring a fresh and varied selection of products. In addition, seasonal products such as game, lamb and pork are offered, as well as in-house freshly ground minced meat and pork chop dough.
