Åssiden Legesenter AS was established in 2001 as part of the general practitioner scheme. Since then, the centre has expanded its operations from two to four general practitioners, and has also employed more staff, including temporary doctors, nurses and health secretaries. This has contributed to increased capacity and the possibility of offering health services to a larger number of patients.
