Drammen transitional housing offers a specialized service for inmates who want to facilitate a law-abiding and drug-free life. The housing has a capacity for 12 residents and focuses on adaptation to society through a restorative process. This means that residents are given the opportunity to participate in program activities that promote personal development.
In addition to support and guidance from a contact officer, health services are also available to residents. Drug control and substance abuse units are part of the service, which helps to strengthen the residents' chances of successful reintegration. There is also the possibility of leave, which gives residents a chance to practice what they have learned in a more independent environment.
