The Guts Foundation administration has been active since 2005 and offers 24-hour treatment for adult drug addicts. With departments in Drammen and Vikersund, the foundation focuses on care and charity in its approach to rehabilitation. The recovery-oriented working methodology and the interdisciplinary milieu therapeutic team contribute to a holistic treatment environment.
The offer is available to both boys, girls and couples, and admission is via local NAV offices or the municipality's drug counselor. The foundation aims to help people who want to take the first step towards drug freedom. In May 2025, it is planned to open a new asylum reception center in Vikersund, which will further expand the foundation's services. The purpose of the Guts Foundation is to provide care, rehabilitation and treatment services to drug addicts and others in need.
