DNT Drammen and the surrounding area is a local association affiliated with the Norwegian Tourist Association, which offers nature experiences through organized trips, activities and courses. The association has three local teams and a kayak club that arranges its own activities. Members have access to over 580 DNT cabins spread across Norway, where they can stay overnight.
Volunteers in DNT Drammen and the surrounding area mark trails to ensure safer hiking experiences, and the association places great emphasis on community and volunteer work to promote outdoor activities. In addition, they offer hiking tips and recommended trips in Drammen and the surrounding area, as well as access to DNT's activity calendar for planning trips. The association works from the coast in Hurumlandet to the high mountains on the Hardangervidda plateau, and aims to give members nature experiences of a lifetime.
