Fjelldalen Borettslag is a housing association consisting of 127 homes in a block. The housing association offers a number of services for its members, including health, safety and environmental work (HSE) and maintenance of common areas. Members of the Norwegian Housing Association (NBBO) have a right of first refusal when selling homes within the housing association, which can be an advantage for existing residents.
In addition to maintenance services, Fjelldalen Borettslag focuses on rehabilitation and energy mapping, which can contribute to increased energy efficiency. The housing association also arranges courses and theme evenings for its members, and offers janitorial services. Corporate social responsibility is an important part of the housing association's operations, and there is continuous work on property development and calling general meetings to involve members in decision-making processes.
