The Norwegian Motorhome Association is a nationwide organization that was established in 1984, and is today the largest purely motorhome association in the Nordic region. The association has six regions spread across Norway and has a service office in Drammen with full-time employees. The Norwegian Motorhome Association, formerly known as the Norwegian Camping Car Association, aims to promote the use of motorhomes and works for a social profile that emphasizes camaraderie, helpfulness and consideration among its members.
The association offers a number of member benefits, including discounts and exclusive deals, as well as camping cards for its members. Various activities and motorhome meetings are organized, and an activity calendar provides an overview of upcoming events. Members have access to technical advice, a travel blog with travel stories, and a forum for exchanging experiences. In addition, the association provides governance tools to elected officials, and works to influence laws and regulations related to motorhome use in a fair and environmentally friendly way.
