Brage Theater AS, also known as Brageteatret, is a regional theater for Buskerud located at Union Scene in Drammen. The theater was established in 2000 and is owned by Viken County Council and Drammen Municipality. The main purpose is to offer professional performing arts to the population of Viken County, with a varied program that includes both adult and children's performances.
As a touring theater, Brageteatret is responsible for the performing arts program in the cultural school bag in Buskerud, which means that all primary school children in the county have the opportunity to experience theater during school hours. The theater focuses on new Norwegian drama and also offers audio drama and fiction podcasts aimed at young people. In addition, Brageteatret collaborates with local artists and playwrights to create engaging and imaginative performances, and they have tours that extend from Hallingdal to Halden.
