The Vocational Academy South is a non-profit organization that focuses on practical competence development for employees in the municipal and public sectors, as well as private service providers. The organization is owned by the Norwegian Trade Union Confederation and aims to improve the skills of public service providers. With 23 employees, the Vocational Academy has a team with varied professional expertise and broad experience from the public sector.
The Vocational Academy collaborates with external vocational schools, colleges and universities to offer specially adapted courses, studies and development seminars. These initiatives are tailored to local needs at the individual workplace, which contributes to relevant and targeted competence development for the participants.
