Glitrevannverket IKS is an intermunicipal company owned by the municipalities of Asker, Drammen and Lier. The company's main purpose is to supply the owner municipalities with safe and clean drinking water. Through an environmentally focused and systematic management of water sources and water supply systems, Glitrevannverket ensures access to high-quality water for its residents. The company supplies water from sources such as Glitre, Råysjå and Holsfjorden.
With an infrastructure that includes 130 kilometers of its own pipes, Glitrevannverket serves approximately 155,000 people in several municipalities, including the former Røyken municipality.
