Blue Cross Drammen is a non-profit organization that offers a diverse range of services aimed at people in vulnerable life situations. The organization has four main activities: Steg for steg, Barnas stasjon, Bragernes mottak and Livsmestring. The Livsmestring program includes several projects, such as Første steg mot arbejdslivet, Damenes stasjon, Mat med mening and Blå Blomster, all of which aim to support individuals in their development and inclusion in society.
The organization has a team of 65 employees and approximately 50 volunteers, who help deliver the various services. There is no requirement for a referral or decision to use the services, and all services are provided free of charge.
