FASVO Bakery is part of FASVO AS, a company established in 1993 and owned by Fredrikstad Municipality. The company focuses on offering permanent adapted work (VTA) for people with disability pensions, and works in accordance with guidelines from NAV. FASVO Bakery aims to create an inclusive working environment where all employees can contribute, regardless of the challenges they may have in relation to the ordinary labour market.
In addition to offering jobs, FASVO functions as a learning company approved by Østfold County Municipality. This makes it possible for young people with needs for adapted education to complete their vocational education in a supportive environment. FASVO Bakery thus has an important role both as a workplace and an educational institution, and contributes to strengthening the local community in Fredrikstad.
