Fredrikstad Sportsdykkere was founded in 1966 and thus has over 50 years of experience in sport diving. The club has a varied membership, which includes both beginners and experienced technical divers. This provides a broad range of expertise and opportunities for learning and development among the members.
The club has its own boat, "Skreien", which is used for diving trips. In addition, they have a clubhouse and a filling station for air filling, which facilitates a practical and social diving experience. An upgrade of the facilities with NiTrox filling is also planned to meet the needs of the members. Fredrikstad Sportsdykkere is largely run by volunteer work from the members, and the club has a solid economy that supports their activities.
