Læringsverkstedet Myråsen kindergarten opened in March 2009 and is located on a sunny mountainside in Grimstad. The kindergarten has bright and pleasant premises, as well as a large outdoor area that facilitates exploration and motor development. It is approved for 112 places for children aged 0 to 6 years, and is divided into five departments: Squirrel, Hedgehog, Hares, Fox and Bear.
As a full-board kindergarten, Læringsverkstedet Myråsen focuses on a healthy and varied diet, and serves two hot dinners a week as well as hot lunch. The kindergarten emphasizes playful learning, interaction and mastery, with the goal that each child should be seen, heard and cared for. This educational concept has been developed to give children a solid foundation for personal development.
