Grimstad Church Council is part of the Church of Norway and is responsible for church activities and services in Grimstad. The Council has approximately 50 employees, which is 39 full-time equivalents, including employees in the kindergartens. The municipality has four priests, who are under the supervision of the bishop.
The Council offers a number of activities that promote community and social interaction. These include a church quiz, a pilgrimage to the Orkney Islands and virtual tours of Fjære Church. Weekly church services are also held in several congregations, as well as Soul Church family services. In addition to religious services, events with simple refreshments are organized, with a focus on good evening thoughts and community.
