Frivoll School has approximately 160 students and is organized into two teams covering different grades. The school has a modern pavilion that is adapted to today's teaching methods, as well as a historic administration department from the 19th century, which gives a unique touch to the school environment.
The school offers an after-school program (SFO) that functions as a separate department, and has a close connection to both recreational areas and Grimstad city center. Frivoll School is also a practice school for teacher education at the University of Agder, which contributes to active cooperation with higher education institutions. In addition, homework help is offered for selected grades, with a total of four hours per week.
