A-larm user and relatives organization, also known as Vossbakke Activity Center, is a nationwide organization that focuses on support for people with substance abuse problems and their relatives. The organization offers a low-threshold service that is free and does not require a referral, making it accessible to anyone who needs help. The services include self-help groups, activity groups and drop-in services, as well as digital and physical resources for relatives.
In addition to the direct support services, A-larm has a professional department that works with consultation statements and annual reports. The organization also runs the A-larm School, which offers courses and lectures for both users and relatives. There is a focus on collaboration between experience and professional expertise, and the organization receives support from IMDi for crime prevention work.
