Solbakkeparken kindergarten is centrally located in Halden and offers a varied and stimulating environment for children. The kindergarten has four departments with space for 70 children, and focuses on play as an important part of everyday life. With a large outdoor area that includes grass, gravel and rock formations, as well as its own small forest, there are good opportunities for physical activity and development. The kindergarten emphasizes developing children's fine and gross motor skills through play and exploration of nature.
The kindergarten is open all year round and offers three full meals every day. 24-hour accident insurance for the children is also included. The staff works systematically with language and communication, and facilitates cooperation and play among the children.
