The Workers' Hunters and Fishermen's Association in Halden is an association that focuses on hunting and fishing activities, with a special emphasis on the inclusion of children and young people. The association offers introductory hunting courses for deer and fly-casting courses for beginners, which give new athletes the opportunity to learn basic skills. In addition, fishing weekends are arranged for children, young people and families, which provide a social arena for participation in outdoor activities.
The association also has an active women's committee that organizes its own activities, and offers clay pigeon shooting specifically aimed at young people and women. The events take place in scenic surroundings at Berby, which gives participants an opportunity to enjoy nature while developing their hunting and fishing skills. The Workers' Hunters and Fishermen's Association is affiliated with the Norwegian Hunters and Fishermen's Association (NJFF), which emphasizes their commitment to promoting hunting and fishing interests in the local community.
