The Music Pavilion in Halden was built in 1879 as a gift from Fredrikshald Sparebank. It was designed by architect N. Thomassen and has an octagonal floor plan. The pavilion is located in Busterudparken, which was previously a cemetery, and was inaugurated with a musical experience led by conductor Reissiger, who conducted a band and singers.
As a cultural center in the park, the Music Pavilion plays an important role in the local community. The area around the pavilion has preserved historical tombstones, which give an extra dimension to the park and its history. The pavilion is used for various cultural events and helps to promote music and art in Halden.
