Fredriksten Rotary Club was founded in 1979 and currently has 19 members, including one honorary member. The club consists of people with varied professional backgrounds, which contributes to a wide range of experiences and perspectives among the members. This diversity is an important part of the club's identity and activities.
The club has a focus on community involvement and participates in various projects that benefit the local community. Members meet every Wednesday, where a three-minute presentation is traditionally held before the main lecture. The lectures last between 30 and 37 minutes, and there is access to a projector and screen for presentations, which enables a varied and informative meeting format.
