The Norwegian Cat Breeders' Association (NRR) was established in 1963 and serves as the central organization for member clubs in Norway. The association is affiliated with the international organization Fédération Internationale Féline (FIFe) and aims to promote purebred cats and their breeding. NRR is also involved in the welfare and health of cats, and works to ensure good conditions for both cats and breeders.
The organization organizes various activities, including the Agria Cat Parade, which provides a platform for the exhibition and celebration of purebred cats. NRR also offers newsletters with updates to its members, as well as congratulations to members who achieve achievements within the purebred cat community. In addition, the association has cats for sale, which gives potential owners the opportunity to find high-quality purebred cats.
