The Hamar Region Business Forum functions as a regional arena for making contacts and creating relationships between local actors. The forum offers a platform for professional enrichment and inspiration through various events, including breakfast seminars that address current topics. In addition, open meetings are arranged for residents and businesses, where municipal plans and other relevant matters are discussed.
The forum was formally established in April 2013, when the municipal administration part of Hamar Region Development was separated as a host municipality cooperation. At the same time, the association part was continued under the name Hamar Region Business Forum, and the members from the former unit were transferred to the new organization. The Hamar Region Business Forum focuses on cooperation between local businesses and engages members in discussions about business development, as well as keeping them updated on news and events in the region.
