Børstad Discgolf was founded on April 10, 1986 by a group of young enthusiasts and has since then been a key player in disc golf in Hamar. The original course was established in Ankerskogen, where activity has increased significantly after the Norwegian Cup was held in 2011. In 2024, the course was rebuilt from a 27-hole layout to a complete 18-hole course, which offers varied challenges for players of different skill levels. In addition to the 18-hole course, there is also a 13-hole course at Børstad, which is specially designed for beginners. Børstad Discgolf regularly organizes the Norwegian Cup and Norwegian Championship, and has weekly activities such as weekly golf and weekend flex both in Ankerskogen and in Børstad. This helps to promote the sport and create an active environment for disc golf enthusiasts in the area.
