Hamar Train Station is an important hub located on the Dovre Line, which connects several central destinations in Norway. The station offers train connections to Trondheim, Åndalsnes, Oslo S and Drammen, and also serves as the departure station for the Røros Line. This makes it a central point for travelers wishing to travel domestically.
The station has a ticket machine that accepts cards, coins and banknotes, allowing travelers to purchase tickets in an easy way. In addition, there is a bus terminal connected to the station, as well as taxi services available south of the station building. For travelers with reduced mobility, there is HC parking with two spaces near the Victoria underpass. It is worth noting that the parking lot is partially closed due to construction work until week 46.
