Innlandet Music Council is a regional umbrella organization for the music scene in the Inland region, and functions as the regional branch of the Music Studies Association and the Norwegian Music Council. The organization aims to support and develop the popular music scene in the county. Through various initiatives, they focus on recruiting for bands and orchestras, as well as engaging in cultural volunteering. They offer music venues with good acoustics, which is essential for rehearsals and performances.
In addition to supporting the music scene, Innlandet Music Council organizes national conferences for music and cultural councils, and has employed a coordinator for the Music Sponsor program.
