St. Torfinn Kirke is a Catholic church in Hamar, which was formally established in 1925, after having functioned as a mission station since 1924. The church serves a congregation that extends across several municipalities in Hedmark county, and covers an extensive geographical area of 22,689 km². This gives the church an important role in the Catholic community in the region.
The church offers a number of sacraments, including baptism, confirmation, confession, Eucharist, marriage, anointing of the sick and burial. St. Torfinn Kirke has an active parish council and finance committee, which contribute to the management of the parish's activities and resources. In addition, the church has a catechism program for confirmands in the 8th and 9th grades, which gives young members the opportunity to learn more about the faith and prepare for confirmation.
