The Food Quarter is a new food destination in the center of Hamar, located in a newly renovated apartment building from 1910. The place offers a diverse selection of eateries, including a butcher, general store, restaurants and bakery. In addition, there is a microbrewery and a hydroponic cocktail bar, as well as a delicatessen and cheese shop. With eight different street food kitchens, visitors can enjoy dishes from several parts of the world, from sushi and tacos to Indian and Asian food.
There are over 200 seats available on both the first and second floors, and guests have the opportunity to order from any eatery regardless of where they are sitting. The Food Quarter also has a cozy backyard that provides a relaxed atmosphere for meals. For those who want an exclusive experience, an Omakase experience is offered for a maximum of 12 people. In addition, beer and wine tastings and concerts are organized, which contributes to a diverse and lively environment.
