The Joint Organization (FO) Innlandet is a trade union with approximately 2,500 members, including students. The organization's main goal is to improve its members' pay and working conditions, as well as to carry out health and social policy advocacy work. FO Innlandet is part of the National Confederation of Trade Unions in Norway (LO), which gives its members access to a broader network and resources.
In addition to its political work, FO Innlandet offers courses and events for elected officials, as well as digital courses and resources. The organization is also involved in professional ethics and local negotiations, and arranges representative council meetings and collective bargaining conferences. With a focus on solidarity, FO Innlandet actively participates in international solidarity work, which helps to strengthen the community among its members. Professional scholarships are available to members, which provides opportunities for further development and competence enhancement.
