Davvi - Center for Performing Arts is a national center of excellence with a focus on performing arts in Northern Norway. The center works to develop and strengthen the performing arts field through various initiatives and programs. This includes collaboration with local cultural centers to arrange residency programs, which give artists the opportunity to develop their projects in a supportive environment.
The center also offers ArtLab, a platform for artistic development and professional conversation, as well as projects such as Uredd and Moving Identities, which aim to support artists in their work. Davvi has a particular focus on producer support and the development of new talent, and offers tools such as home residencies and evaluation tools to help artists in their development.
