Furuberget FUS kindergarten is located in Harstad municipality and opened in the fall of 2017. The kindergarten is designed as an activity kindergarten with a focus on play and learning, and has six departments that are adapted to different age groups. The premises are newly built and modern, which contributes to a good environment for the children.
The kindergarten uses the FUS method as a pedagogical approach, which emphasizes creating a safe and stimulating learning environment. Great emphasis is also placed on hygiene and infection control to ensure the children's health. In order to provide better follow-up, small groups are offered, which promotes individual attention and support for each child.
