Harstad Climbing Club offers indoor climbing with both a climbing wall and a bouldering wall, which gives members the opportunity to train and develop climbing skills in a safe environment. The club arranges courses in various climbing techniques, which are adapted to both beginners and more experienced climbers. In addition to indoor activities, the club also offers opportunities for outdoor climbing, wedge climbing, and ice and mixed climbing.
Membership in Harstad Climbing Club gives access to special facilities and codes, which can be an advantage for active climbers. The club also has drop-in opportunities for non-members via VIPPS, which makes it easier for interested people to try climbing. There is an emphasis on community and cooperation, and this is expressed through board meetings and volunteer work, which contributes to an active and inclusive environment for all members. After Polarcup 2025, a new set of routes will be available, which provides additional opportunities for training and challenges.
