Bakgården Harstad AS is a non-profit music festival that takes place every year in August. The festival lasts three days and offers concerts by various artists, as well as a large market with around 90 exhibitors from all over the country. The event has become a popular concept in the region, attracting visitors from different parts of Norway. The intimate atmosphere of the festival contributes to a unique experience for both the audience and the artists.
In addition to the main festival, Bakgården LIVE is held throughout the year, where various artists perform. The festival emphasizes sustainability, and implements environmental measures to reduce its ecological footprint. It also offers opportunities for volunteer work, where you can contribute as a "Bakgårdshelt". To ensure easy transportation during the festival, there is a night bus and ferry available.
