Espira Bjørgene is a kindergarten located in Sakkestad in Haugesund municipality, close to beautiful hiking areas, Lillesund school and Haugesund city center. The kindergarten has a large and varied outdoor area that is adapted to different age groups, and includes a pirate ship as a play equipment. Activities such as football and sledding in the winter are also offered, as well as opportunities for research and experimentation with research equipment.
The kindergarten has a packed lunch-free everyday life, where three healthy and nutritious meals are served daily, including fruit or vegetables, with a special focus on fish. Espira Bjørgene places great emphasis on good parental cooperation and a safe habituation for both children and parents. In addition, ASK (Alternative and Supplementary Communication) is used to provide language support to the children.
