Udland Cemetery is located in Haugesund and is one of six cemeteries in the municipality. It has undergone significant expansion and now covers an area of just under 40 acres. After the expansion, 2,637 new graves and 526 new urn graves have been established. The cemetery also has a memorial garden that provides opportunities for memorials.
Haugesund's cemeteries have a long history, with the oldest, Vår Frelsers Gravlund, established in 1863. Christine Elisabeths Gravlund was established in 1892, and Røvær Gravlund was established in 1901 after a major shipwreck. Nordre Hauge Gravlund was established in 1876, while Søndre Hauge Gravlund was established in 1963. Udland Gravevlund helps to preserve the memory of those who have passed away in the local community.
