Haugesund Sjømands- og Skipperforening is a club that offers a varied range of activities for its members. The association has its own bridge club that is open to both men and women, and arranges weekly Thursday coffees with waffles. Member meetings and board meetings give members the opportunity to participate in the club's operations and development.
In addition to social activities, the association has a shanty choir that practices regularly, as well as a historical association that focuses on the history of shipping. The association also has a picture gallery with pictures from various vessels, which provides a visual insight into maritime traditions. A memorial service at the "Propellen" is also part of the association's activities, which helps to preserve and honor the cultural heritage of shipping.
