Hiking post: Ølkånå is an easy hike that stretches over 3.2 kilometers, and takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete. The hike goes from point A to point B, and has a total elevation gain of 123 meters. The route is facilitated with a road on the north side of Tjelltjørn, which makes it accessible to hikers.
The area around the trail is characterized by a wooded coastal landscape with idyllic surroundings. The hike follows an old church road and peat road, which gives a historical dimension to the experience. Along the route you can observe fire-damaged forest from a major fire in 1972, as well as open bog areas and small forests, which contribute to a varied and interesting landscape.
