The main task of Fellesforbundet branch 57 North Rogaland is to organize workers in several industries, including agriculture, horticulture, forestry, textiles and clothing. The union acts as a representative for employees in accommodation, serving and catering, and offers support to workers in the construction industry and the technology industry. This gives members access to resources and assistance in their working lives.
In addition to organizing and representing, the union has a particular focus on permanent adapted work (VTA) and the inclusion of employees in paper and wood processing, as well as car and aircraft mechanics. Fellesforbundet branch 57 also cooperates with labor market companies (AMB) to promote employment and the development of competence. The commitment also extends to workers in the construction trades and graphic design, which contributes to a wide range of services for members.
