MidWinter is the largest gaming festival in Haugalandet, and is organized by Haugaland Brettspillklubb. The festival offers a wide selection of over 200 different board games, giving participants the opportunity to explore and play many different games. Participants are encouraged to bring their own games to share and play with others, creating an inclusive atmosphere.
In addition to the gaming activities, the festival will include auctions of board games, miniatures and role-playing materials. Several tournaments will also be held, including the Norwegian Championship in Ascension. MidWinter will take place from March 5 to 8, 2026, and will bring together gaming enthusiasts from all over the region for a weekend filled with gaming joy and community.
