Haraldsvang ungdomsskole — Middle school

Haraldsvang Junior High School is a new school under construction in Haugesund, with a capacity to accommodate 720 students. Construction work began in the summer of 2023, and the school is scheduled for completion in August 2025. As part of the project, the old Haraldsvang School will be demolished, with demolition scheduled to begin in the summer of 2025. In addition to teaching facilities, Haraldsvang Junior High School will include a multi-purpose hall with space for two handball courts. This hall is expected to be ready in November 2026. The general contractor for the project is Backe, and the budget for the entire school project is set at NOK 629 million.
