Sørholtet Barnehage is a non-profit, private parent-owned cooperative kindergarten that offers a varied and adapted offer for children in different age groups. The kindergarten has four departments, which makes it possible to provide individual follow-up and adaptation to each child's needs. With a focus on play and life skills, Sørholtet emphasizes creating a safe and inclusive environment where children can develop and learn at their own pace.
A dedicated chef prepares healthy meals from scratch, and great emphasis is placed on including the children in the cooking. This contributes to increased mastery and enjoyment of food, which is an important part of the kindergarten's educational approach. Sørholtet Barnehage is also close to beautiful hiking areas, which provide opportunities for varied outdoor activities and nature experiences. The core values of joy, equality, identity, participation and security are central to the kindergarten's work, with the goal of supporting children in becoming the best version of themselves.
