Øvre Romerike fire and rescue IKS is an intermunicipal company responsible for fire and rescue preparedness in the owner municipalities of Eidsvoll, Hurdal, Nannestad, Nes and Ullensaker. The company covers an area of 1974 km² and serves a population of approximately 113,000 inhabitants. The head office is located in Jessheim, which is also part of Ullensaker municipality.
The company offers a number of services related to fire safety, including advice on fire safety in the home, installation of smoke detectors and fire extinguishing equipment, and training in fire safety. ØRB is also involved in campaigns against residential fires and offers residual value rescue.
