Gystadmarka Junior High School, established in 2014, is located in Jessheim and currently has 342 students in grades 8 and 9, as well as grade 10. The school has approximately 40 employees and moved into new premises on February 1, 2018. The building is modern and equipped with good facilities, including interactive screens in all classrooms and individual PCs for each student.
The school offers a varied learning environment with a focus on safety and well-being. There is a bilingual center with introductory classes, as well as environmental therapists and counselors available to provide support to the students. Gystadmarka Junior High School actively collaborates with parents to promote the development of the students. Near the school there are several sports facilities, including an athletics track, a skate park and an ice and multi-purpose hall, as well as Jessheim Stadium. There are also plans for a new swimming facility. The school receives students from the areas of Algarheim, Gystadmarka and Mogreina.
