Nordby Junior High School is centrally located in Jessheim and accepts students from Hovin School and Jessheim School and Resource Center. The school offers a department for students who need special accommodations, which contributes to an inclusive learning environment.
The school has an environmental workshop staffed by an environmental therapist, who focuses on social educational work. In addition, Nordby Junior High School collaborates with external agencies such as the Educational Psychological Service (PPT), the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic (BUP), child welfare and the police to ensure the best possible support for the students.
The school also has a student-run cafeteria that is open every day, and emphasizes measures to promote well-being and prevent bullying. This work is part of the school's holistic approach to student welfare and the learning environment.
