Fretex clothing collection in Jessheim is part of the Salvation Army and works to combat exclusion through work inclusion. The organization promotes the reuse of clothing and textiles to contribute to the environment, and offers several channels for giving away such goods. Fretex focuses on sustainability and follows the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with core values such as openness, love, profitability and commitment.
At Fretex, you can give away whole, clean and dry clothes, as well as shoes, belts, bags and other accessories. What is collected is sold or distributed through the Salvation Army's social work. Up to NOK 30 million from the sales proceeds goes to this work annually. Fretex also operates 40 second-hand stores and an online store, which offers an environmentally friendly alternative to buying new clothes and goods. The organization organizes activities such as Festivalsommer, which focuses on reuse and social commitment.
