Attorney Erik Børresen is affiliated with the largest law firm in Southern Norway, which offers legal assistance to private individuals, businesses and public bodies. The firm covers a wide range of industries and business law areas, with particular emphasis on family law, contract law and property settlements. The attorneys actively participate in negotiations and represent clients in the courts, and several have the right to appear before the Supreme Court.
Erik Børresen has a varied background in legal practice. He has been a research assistant at the University of Oslo and has experience as a law clerk and attorney in Oslo. From 2004 to 2009, he was a partner in AdvokatRådhuset DA, before becoming a partner in Advokatfirma Tofte DA in 2010. Børresen has also held several positions, including as a member of the editorial board of Tidsskrift for Strafferett and as secretary in various appeals boards related to media ownership and the Election Act. In addition, the firm arranges seminars and courses on current topics and is involved in corporate social responsibility and local events.
